A flexible all-rounder for camper conversions and repairs: DEKALIN DEKASYL MS-6 is a universal MS-polymer-based adhesive and sealant developed for many of the materials commonly used in caravans, motorhomes and converted camper vans.
The white sealant provides excellent adhesion without special pre-treatment on many clean, dry, dust- and grease-free surfaces. Suitable substrates include painted body panels, aluminium, stainless steel, galvanised steel, glass, GRP, PVC, painted wood and many plastics.
Its high elasticity and low hardness make DEKASYL MS-6 particularly suitable for seals that need to withstand vehicle movement, temperature fluctuations and vibrations.

DEKASYL MS-6 is neutral, virtually odourless and cures through atmospheric moisture. Its long tooling time makes it easier to apply and smooth clean, neat joints. Once cured, it remains permanently elastic at temperatures between –40°C and +90°C.
The sealant is free from solvents, isocyanates, silicone and PVC. Excellent UV and ageing resistance make it suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. Its mould-resistant properties also allow it to be used in sanitary areas inside campers and motorhomes.
DEKASYL MS-6 is compatible with many industrial paint and coating systems. Due to the wide variety of available paints and coatings, a compatibility test should always be carried out before overpainting.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Although DEKASYL MS-6 provides excellent adhesion to many materials without a primer, an adhesion and compatibility test is recommended before use.
Adequate adhesion to polyethylene, polypropylene and PTFE/Teflon cannot be achieved without suitable pre-treatment.
DEKASYL MS-6 is primarily an elastic sealant. A suitable high-strength structural adhesive must be used for heavily loaded components such as awning brackets, roof racks, heavy accessories or solar-panel mounting systems.
