Additional security for motorhomes, camper vans and caravans: The THITRONIK backup siren provides an effective additional layer of protection against attempts to disable the vehicle’s alarm or gas warning system.
Unlike a conventional external siren, it does not only respond to an alarm trigger from the connected system. If the vehicle’s power supply or the siren cable is interrupted during an attempted break-in or act of sabotage, the backup siren also sounds an alarm.
This is made possible by its integrated backup battery. The battery is charged by the vehicle’s 12 V electrical system during normal operation and continues to supply the siren if the external voltage fails. Its loud alarm signal of approximately 105 dB clearly alerts people nearby.
The siren is compatible with THITRONIK WiPro III, WiPro III safe.lock, G.A.S.-pro and G.A.S.-pro III systems. Positive and negative trigger inputs also allow it to be connected to other compatible alarm systems.
Depending on the vehicle and installation requirements, the siren can be mounted in the engine compartment or inside the vehicle. A key switch on the rear allows the siren to be deactivated for servicing and maintenance. The required key is included.

PLEASE NOTE
The internal battery is charged by the vehicle’s 12 V electrical system. If the external power supply is interrupted or deliberately disconnected, the siren continues to operate and sounds a sabotage alarm.
The siren must be deactivated with the supplied key before servicing. Keep the key in a safe place and do not permanently store it inside the vehicle.
The electrical connection must be completed in accordance with the supplied installation instructions. If in doubt, installation should be carried out by a qualified specialist.
