Replacement gearbox stub shaft for your VW T5
This high-quality MEYLE stub shaft is designed for suitable VW T5 models with a 6-speed manual gearbox manufactured from 04/2003 to 08/2015. Also referred to as a differential stub axle, drive flange shaft or gearbox connecting shaft, it forms the connection between the differential and the inner driveshaft joint.
The same shaft can be used on either the left- or right-hand side of the gearbox. One shaft is fitted on each side, meaning that two are required if both sides are being replaced.
The splines connecting the stub shaft and inner driveshaft joint may wear over time. Possible symptoms include excessive drivetrain play, metallic noises, knocking when pulling away or noticeable movement during load changes. Both the stub shaft and the corresponding driveshaft-joint splines should therefore be inspected during repair.
IMPORTANT: This version is intended for suitable VW T5 models with a 6-speed manual gearbox manufactured from 04/2003 to 08/2015. It can be fitted on the left or right, but the scope of delivery contains one shaft only. Two are required to replace both sides.

Tip
