Fits diesel T25s from 1981 to 1992, plus 1900cc and 2100cc petrol
T25s from 1983 to 1992.
Also fits 1800cc to 2800cc VW T4s from 1990 to 1996.
This important component regulates the charging voltage produced by your vehicle’s alternator – maintaining it between 13.5v and 14.5v in order to run efficiently and to protect the electrical system. Too much voltage and costly damage could result with parts burned out; too little, and performance is weakened. It's well worth replacing if you are in any doubt as to its condition.
