Fresh air inside your VW T4 without leaving the side windows open: These strong ventilation grilles are fitted into the window channels of the driver and passenger doors and provide continuous ventilation while the vehicle is parked.
They are particularly useful when camping, sleeping inside the vehicle or ventilating a parked VW T4. Simply lower the side window, insert the grille diagonally into the window channel and carefully wind the window back up until the grille is securely held in position.
The grilles are manufactured from strong aluminium sheet and finished with a high-quality black textured coating. This makes them durable and largely resistant to scratches.
A fine integrated insect screen helps to prevent mosquitoes and other insects from entering the vehicle while still allowing air to circulate.
Once the doors are closed and the windows have been correctly wound up, the grilles cannot simply be removed from outside. Unauthorised access would require considerable force.
Installation requires no drilling, screws or permanent modifications to the vehicle. No technical inspection or registration is required because the grilles must only be used while the vehicle is stationary and must be removed before driving.
Please note: These ventilation grilles are only suitable for VW T4 models with manually operated window winders. They cannot be used in vehicles with electric windows.

Installation
- Fully lower the side window.
- Insert the ventilation grille diagonally into the window channel.
- Align the grille correctly.
- Carefully wind the window upwards until the grille is securely held between the window and frame.
- Remove both ventilation grilles completely before driving.
Make sure the grille is correctly positioned and is not under excessive tension during installation.

Important safety and usage information
The ventilation grilles may only be used while the vehicle is stationary.
Both ventilation grilles must be completely removed before driving.
The grilles must also be removed before entering a car wash. Never clean installed ventilation grilles using a pressure washer.
During extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain, storms or driving rain, we recommend removing the ventilation grilles immediately and fully closing all windows. Otherwise, water may enter the vehicle interior.
The metal grilles may become very hot in high summer temperatures. Allow them to cool in the shade before removal if necessary and take appropriate care during installation and removal.
The ventilation grilles improve air circulation but cannot prevent the vehicle interior from becoming dangerously hot in direct sunlight.
Never leave children or animals unattended inside the vehicle, even for a short period of time.
The ventilation grilles are supplied in plastic bags. Keep plastic bags away from children and dispose of or store them safely after unpacking. Plastic bags present a suffocation hazard.
Tip box
💡 BUS-ok tip: Use both ventilation grilles at the same time to encourage cross-ventilation through the vehicle. This allows warm and stale air to escape more effectively.
Before ordering, check that your VW T4 has manual window winders. These ventilation grilles cannot be used with electric windows.
